Lois Wickstrom lives in a world where imaginary playmates are real. She doesn’t remember being born, so she finds unbirthdays are more exciting than the official once-a-year date on the calendar. She’s taken so many science classes that she believes science is the solution to almost every problem, including the dilemmas in fairy tales.
Jean Lorrah is a New York Times Best Selling author. She is also a retired English teacher, and an award winning artist. She has written Star Trek books with Jacqueline Lichtenberg, and books in worlds of her own creation.
Lucrecia Milagros Darling, writer, is an immigrant to the United States from Venezuela. Her profession is helping undocumented immigrants in America.
Francie Mion got a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and resumed her avocation for art after a career in the health field. She has illustrated many of Lois's children's books, Four take place in the Colorado mountains.
Nicolás Milano was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1983. Nico is a self-taught illustrator who has been working on numerous children’s books since 2008. His passion for drawing was immediate, as Nico drew throughout his childhood and into his teen years. Nico says “being able to working as a professional illustrator is like a dream come true.”
Ada Konewki, illustrator, lives in Poland with her husband and daughter.
Janet King was born in a little Tudor Village in Berkshire England where she loved reading stories of adventure and fantasy. She particularly enjoyed drawing and painting through her childhood, and eventually went to Art college in Surrey graduating and entering the world as an artist and illustrator.
Priscilla Marden, illustrator, is the co-founder of Horse Warriors and co-owner of Diamondfly Ranch. She first came out to Jackson Hole in the 70s to work at a dude ranch just outside of The Grand Teton National Park. Priscilla has helped numerous non-profits in the community including the Teton Science School and the Art Association. She now operates Horse Warriors, a equine facilitated leadership and empowerment program.
Nicole Hehn, illustrator, is a veterinarian and a graduate of the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts

Amy Betz, editor, is formerly a senior editor at Scholastic. She owns tinytalesediting.com. Her ideas have clarified many of Lois's books.
Wendy Whittingham, author, illustrator, editor, is a member of Lois's writing group. She is chief in charge of cutting out extra words from text that can be illustrated instead. She also asks useful questions that help clarify Lois' books
